Huntsville Model Boating Association  (18-038 RT)
"Turkey Day Record Trials”  Timed event for
​1/16 mile SAW, 1/3 mile Oval, 1/4 mile Oval 

TIME: Event starts when timing system is operational – approx. 8 AM until dark
Brahan Spring Park South Lake - next to Natatorium (indoor pool), 2111 Drake Ave., Huntsville, AL 35805

CLASSES: Any IMPBA legal boat/hull/motor can run. All IMPBA racing classes in Nitro, Gas & Fast Electric. 1/16 Mile SAW, 1/3 & 1/4 Mile Oval will be options at CD’s discretion.  Pre-registration is not required –but please email Bill or Paul to let us know you will be coming. Plenty of room for tents and equipment. $25 flat fee run as often as weather permits. Fee is payable prior to first run.

NOTE: Witching Hour Rules (1 hour prior to sunset) -- Only drivers whose boats have been within 5% of the record during the event, or that current record holder will be allowed to run on the short list. See flyer for additional short list rules.

Voodoo Model Boat Club   (18-049 R) 
“10th Annual Voodoo Gas World Championships”  TIME: 7 AM driver meeting
Open water Thurs., Nov. 15

CLASSES:  Stock Mono; Thunderboat; Jersey Skiff; Crackerbox; Offshore; Twin Rigger; Mono Team Marathon; LSG 27 Mono, Cat, Sport Hydro & Rigger; Open Mono, Cat, Sport Hydro, Rigger. Interest in other classes including Nitro and FE let us know- if more than 4 we will add. This event is 250 boat limit.

Morning break if needed due to glare. Shoot out format. 2 Minute Mill Clock – no half mill. Immediate DQ for heat will be given for arguing with calls made by CD, or for arguing with other competitors. All first place stock motors inspected.

4 boats to make a class. 8 boats for trophy class. Pre-registration required by November 4 on Food vendor with a full menu will be on-site Friday – Sunday. Saturday night racers party with music and some fine Louisiana inspired cuisine included in entry fee! T-shirt for pre-order and onsite. Plenty of pit space and parking for large trailers/motor homes –low voltage hook-up and water.
