I'm a tad confused (being a Kanadian and all of that), but when an election is held, are the duties of the existing directors over right after the election, or is it the end of the year....

Any info would be appreciated

Nevermind, I found it in the rule book of all places...


SECTION 3
Elected officers term of office shall start January 1 following the election.

So if thats true, with all due respect to the new Directors, the current Directors are our point of contact until Jan 1 2012.

There seems to be some confusion in some threads I'm looking through around here.

By the way, some of those posts have a rather negative tone to them....we are supposed to be having fun with boats aren't we?
